The MetroHealth System, a major teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is an integrated health system handling more than one million patient visits a year. As Northeast Ohio’s most experienced Level 1 Trauma Center as well as a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, we are dedicated to the care and management of patients with a wide range of chronic and acute neurological and ophthalmologic disorders. We are focused on care access and quality, faculty development, interprofessional education and clinical and academic collaborations. We have amazing neurology and ophthalmology teams and are growing.
The MetroHealth System is seeking a board certified/eligible Ophthalmologist with Neurologist with Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellowship training.
Ø Neurology candidate’s role will include care of outpatients with neuro-ophthalmologic and based on candidate’s interest, other neurologic conditions
Ø Ophthalmology candidate’s role will include care of outpatients with neuro-ophthalmology conditions, and based on the interest of the candidate, may extend to include general ophthalmology patients
Ø Outpatient practice with an inpatient neuro-ophthalmology consult component with no night or weekend call
Ø Potential for leadership and participation in quality improvement projects (if desired)
