Queensland Veterinary Specialists (QVS) is Australia’s first privately established veterinary specialist hospital, founded in Brisbane in 1982. Today we provide specialist-led care 24/7 across South East Queensland, with hospitals at Stafford, North Lakes and the Sunshine Coast.

The Opportunity
QVS is seeking a board-qualified Specialist or board-eligible Registrar in Veterinary Neurology to lead the development of a dedicated neurology service across our hospital group.
Neurology patients rely on close teamwork, and that is where QVS excels. You will work alongside experienced colleagues in diagnostic imaging, surgery, internal medicine, anaesthesia and 24/7 emergency and critical care, giving your patients seamless support from initial work-up through to surgery, intensive care and rehabilitation.
This is a genuine opportunity to shape a service. You will have influence over team growth (including the neurology nursing team), case workflows and clinical standards, the referring vet experience, and the design of future intern and residency training pathways.

About You
To be considered, you will be either:
- A board-qualified Specialist in Veterinary Neurology; or
- A Registrar who has completed an accredited residency and is eligible to sit board examinations
Relevant qualifications include Diplomate of the ACVIM (Neurology) or the ECVN, Fellowship of the ANZCVS, or equivalent specialist credentials. Leadership experience and an interest in teaching are highly regarded.
