Description
Love Neuro? Want 5 weeks of annual leave and true caseload autonomy? Join a team where your wellbeing is our priority.
About the Opportunity
Independent Rehabilitation Services (IRS) has been a leader in community neuro allied health since 1999. Due to high demand across Melbourne, we are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team.
Whether you are an experienced clinician or looking to transition into community neuro, we provide the mentorship and flexibility you need to thrive closer to home.
What’s in it for you?
We offer a package that supports you and your life in in and outside of work:
- More Time Off: 5 weeks of Annual Leave (pro-rata) + 17.5% leave loading.
- Invested in You: 5 days of paid Professional Development leave per year.
- Financial Security: 12% Superannuation + competitive salary + travel reimbursement.
- Tools for Success: Laptop and phone provided.
- True Flexibility: You have complete control over your own calendar. Need to finish early for an appointment? No problem.
- Reasonable Targets: We prioritise quality care. Our clinical hour expectations are achievable and factor in time for documentation, travel, and mentoring.
- Serious Socials: From snow trips and silent discos to group Pilates and fundraising lunches—we work hard, but we have a lot of fun together.
Your Day-to-Day
You won't just be "managing a caseload"; you’ll be changing lives.
- Variety: Support adults with TBI, stroke, spinal cord injuries, and progressive neurological conditions (NDIS, TAC, WorkSafe, aged care and private clients).
- Localised Travel: Minimize your commute by seeing clients in your preferred area, with admin support from our Carnegie and Werribee offices.
- Support: Access our unique Buddy Program, clinical supervision, and formal mentoring.
- Growth: Our 'Career Journey Program' ensures you are consistently meeting your own professional goals, including opportunities to supervise students if that "lights your fire."
