Description
The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of adult cognitive conditions with emphasis on Alzheimer's Disease. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be Board eligible in Neurology. Board certified in Neurology is a preference. The successful candidate will be Fellowship trained in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology.
Teaching responsibilities may include staffing patients in neurology resident clinic every other week, working with Cognitive Neurology Fellows, lectures for medical students, neurology residents and cognitive neurology fellows, and mentoring residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in the Penn Memory Center, Frontotemporal Disorders Center, and general cognitive neurology with a focus on Alzheimer's Disease and participating in clinical research trials and studies in Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias.
