The Department of Neurology at Duke University School of Medicine is seeking an additional Fellowship trained & Board-Certified Vascular Neurologist to join its expanding Stroke and Vascular Neurology Division.
- Ten primary stroke faculty, nine secondary stroke faculty and six nurse practitioners
- Vibrant research environment with over 20+M NIH research funding in the last 5 years
- Active clinical practice at 957-bed Duke University Hospital with 6 stroke subspeciality clinic
- JCAHO certified Comprehensive Stroke Center & the Center of excellence in Cavernous Malformation
- Unique multidisciplinary eye stroke program, both inpatient and outpatient
- Regional coordinator Centers for the StrokeNet and one of Six Sites for Stroke Preclinical Assessment Network (SPAN)
- Growing telestroke network with 10 sites in NC and VA
- Excellent opportunity to develop & advance an education, clinical and translational research career
- Those with at least 2 years’ clinical experience and/or defined research interest are preferred - Individuals at various ranks are welcome to apply.
