About this role

General Neurologist | Southwest Georgia

Join an established outpatient neurology practice with a strong regional referral base and a broad range of neurologic conditions.

Position Highlights

  • Established Team: Join 4 neurologists and 2 advanced practice providers in an established practice.
  • Broad Clinical Scope: Treat a wide range of neurologic conditions while building a general neurology practice around your clinical interests.
  • Procedural Flexibility: Incorporate Botox and EMG, with optional EEG based on your interests.
  • Inpatient Support: Dedicated neurohospitalists manage inpatient services, with TeleStroke coverage providing additional after hours support.
  • Consistent Patient Volume: See approximately 16 patients per day within a large regional referral network.

Schedule & Call

  • Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
  • Call is approximately 1 week every 3 months, with substantial hospitalist support.
  • Rare overnight call-backs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $475,000 guaranteed base salary plus RVU based productivity incentives
  • $75,000 sign on bonus and up to $15,000 in relocation assistance
  • 20 days of PTO, 7 paid holidays, and a $7,000 CME allowance
  • 401(k), comprehensive health benefits, and malpractice coverage with tail

Candidate Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
  • Comfortable managing general neurology patients in a high demand referral environment
  • J 1 and H 1B candidates welcome to apply
