Part-Time Neuro-Optometrist
Locations: Newport Beach & San Juan Capistrano, CA
Schedule: 1-2 Weekdays + Every Saturday (with opportunity for expanded hours)

As the only Vision Therapy Only Clinics in Southern California, we are looking to hire a passionate Optometrist who wants to work in a unique environment that is incredibly low stress with immensely high reward!!
Instead of 4 exams an hour, you will only have 1. We have an Eye Tracking device to record and monitor findings, and amazing Vision Therapists to work under you. You will have ample time to take measurements and educate patients.
NEW TO VT?! No problem! Dr. McCartin will completely train the right person and provide years of tips and knowledge from doing VT only.

We help patients with binocular vision dysfunctions, visual processing issues, concussion-related visual symptoms, and other neuro-visual challenges. We pride ourselves on offering personalized, high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Developmental-Optometrist to join our team and serve patients at our Newport Beach and San Juan Capistrano locations.
This position begins with one weekday and every Saturday, with the potential for additional hours as patient demand continues to grow.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive neuro-optometric and binocular vision evaluations
Diagnose and manage visual conditions related to neurological, developmental, or functional vision issues
Collaborate with therapists and staff to develop individualized vision therapy treatment plans
Educate patients and families on findings, treatment goals, and progress
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in our EHR system
Provide an exceptional patient experience that aligns with our clinic’s values of care, empathy, and excellence
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited program
Active California optometry license (required)
Experience or strong interest in neuro-optometry, binocular vision, or vision therapy preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Professional, reliable, and patient-focused demeanor
